About

Teacher Lizelle

For more than 23 years, I have had the joy of helping young children grow in confidence, curiosity, and readiness for school.
My journey began in a tiny Grade RRR classroom, where I first discovered that teaching is not my occupation, it is my passion.
Over the years, I have taught Grade R, served as a school principal, and supported families as a school readiness specialist. These experiences have shaped the way I teach: warm, structured, and intentional.
Every lesson is designed to give children the space to learn at their own pace, feel safe, and experience the small successes that build real confidence.
Today, I work with young learners from Grade RR to Grade 6 — helping them strengthen English skills, improve reading and phonics, and grow into capable, confident learners. My lessons focus on connection, clarity, and gentle encouragement, whether students are learning in South Africa or abroad.
Alongside my work with children, I also support teachers who want to grow in their practice. After many years in classrooms and leadership roles, I understand the challenges teachers face — the pressure, the uncertainty, and the desire to keep improving for the sake of every child.
My guidance for teachers is warm, practical, and grounded in real experience.
Whether a teacher needs help with classroom management, confidence-building, reading strategies, or simply someone to talk through their challenges, I offer a supportive space to learn and grow. Through one-on-one coaching, mock lessons with feedback, or gentle mentoring, my goal is always the same, to help teachers feel capable, confident, and ready to shine.
At the heart of everything I do — with learners and teachers — is the belief that every person flourishes when they feel seen, heard, and supported.
My hope is that each child and teacher who works with me grows into a confident, happy learner, equipped with skills they can carry for life.
